How-to Guide Website:  Not Available
First start by cleaning the entire boat. Strip off old vinyl and clean off adhesive w/ mineral spirits. Next lightly wet sand to give the surface texture for the paint to stick to. Give a good cleaning, then start masking off the graphics.
Next I used two coats of hok koseal to seal and cover the old graphic and give me a nice white base. Once dry I litely wet sand to remove any little debris then clean and blow it of w/ air hose. Now I applied hok candy apple red for the stripe and tear.
When dry ,I mask over the red and start the flag. First I draw the flag on the masking tape w/ blue stabilo, then I cut the tape w/ an xacto knife. I peel off only the squares that are to be black and spray solid black. When dry remove the tape from the white squares and litely mist a few strokes to give a wrinkle appearance
Finally I peel off any tape and wed sand and clean. Then I applied three coats of clear coat to finish it off.
